Antique Living Room Chair
What do you think of this color scheme?
In our new house, I want something similar to this (coral walls, white wainscoat/panels):

Question 2: What color sofa do you think best? I can't do anything too light, as I have toddlers. I was thinking darker brown w/a printed chair on the side with antique white accents...Also, we will have beige carpets if you're factoring that in.

Question 3: It will be in the front living room, where you enter. Do I continue the coral/wainscoat down the hallway?

I love the color scheme, and yes, I would take the color as well as the wainscot down the hall. I disagree with Olivera above me, as the living room is open to the hall it would be very natural to go down the hall and anyone you are entertaining is likely to also go down to the kitchen or restroom. I think it would be weird to not treat that whole open area as connected. Another way to tie the wainscot to the entire house is have all your base and door trim painted that same white as the wainscot. I see that a lot in homes these days and if the rooms have different colors and decor schemes in them it ties it all together.
I think your beige carpet is going to throw it off though...if you get to pick the beige, be sure to pick a beige that has a bit of pink in it (all beige shades into pink, gold, green, brown, gray or a combination of those colors - you'll need to look at samples in the actual light of the house to see what colors it will really shade into). I'd also use a bright rug over your carpet like they have in the photo, that's a large part of the impact.
I'd also be concerned about the hot coral being too stimulating for your toddlers...and it will be somewhat limiting to you in terms of decorating. One thing I noticed right off in the first photo is the lack of furniture and accessories in the room. Once you get all those other shapes and colors in there it will break up the clean lines and sharp color contrast.
If you go for it, (and sure, try it, paint is easy and cheap to change) I think your couch and chair idea sound fine...be sure the print in the chair picks up the coral.
And I'm not kidding about that color being stimulating to toddlers...pay attention to that as the walls will have A LOT of a very hot, stimulating color that could factor into all sorts of too-active behavior.
