I was given have a Duncan Phyfe style Dining Room Table that is Mahogany (not veneer) solid wood, approximately 70 y/o. We use this set as our everyday table. It gets a white water stain immediately whenever any water touches the table even if I dry it right away. I have used Howard's Restore-A-Finish which removes the white marks but how do I seal the table so this doesn't happen. We would like to be able to use the table without being so careful and paranoid of drips every meal. I would prefer not to have to completely refinish the table. Also, I want to make sure I don't use a product that will ruin the finish.
