Opinions needed...please (pics included)?
We are in the process of remodleing our kitchen and need some opinions. I love the french country chic look, or farm look what ever you want to call it. What do you think I should do with my kitchen windows, they have wooden blinds on them. I was thinking of using the previous green valance again but not sure any suggestions? We are on a budget and are doing all the by ourselves (my husband and I). We are doing black high gloss tiles on the countertops, beadboard back splash, and painted the kitchen a color called Vintage Yellow. What do you think so far?

Bravo! You guys are doing a great job. I think that since you like the french county look, you should go with inexpensive toile valances.

Roosters are also very French country but might be a bit too much depending on the print. I once saw a beautiful rooster toile that I really liked but it was very expensive. The other rooster prints are often too “barnyard” looking for me.
